Revival in the Desert was truly inspirational. We had an incredible group of about 15 people… and the creativity was boundless. A huge thanks to Clinton and Diana from LUZ Studios for organizing my workshop! Special thanks to Carol Boss for attending, my rep from Hahnemuhle Fine Art Papers (my workshop sponsor)! Here are a few photos of the creativity in action…
Joshua Tree - Part 1
Revival in the Desert! Photos from my workshop in Joshua Tree California, organized by LUZ Studios. We spent the weekend at the gorgeous Saddleback Oasis, a home we rented from an amazing woman named Sati through Air B&B. We kicked off the weekend with a cocktail party Friday night. My friend Tawnja (Ricochet Vintage) cooked us a delicious group meal on Saturday with lots of fresh ingredients from the farmer’s market. Good food, socializing with amazing artists, and the beautiful desert– just what we needed for a weekend full of inspiration.
Sara Wight & Charlie Juliet
I taught an amazing workshop from my studio this past March with two amazing photographers: Charlie Juliet and Sara Wight. Check out a few photos from the day and be sure to visit their websites.

I was especially happy to reconnect with Holly Cusumano. Holly took a private workshop with me a few years back. She’s been continuing to grow as a wonderful encaustic artist. Check out her website: www.hollycusumano.com
